The Eagles had no problem with Muncie Central defeating them 8-0. The pitching was shared between Angie Naaman and Logan Bland. Naaman allowing no hits in two innings and Bland only allowing 2 hits in 5 innings. Ericka Pursley went 4-4 with the bat. Micaya Richardson 3-4, Thompson Naaman, Bland, 2-4 and Thornburg added 1.


The Eagles lost the first game to Homestead after holding the lead till the 5th inning and then the wheels fell off with Homestead scoring 8 runs.  The Eagles battled back the next inning scoring 3 runs. The Eagles battled hard with an outstanding performance by pitcher Angie Naaman holding Tigers to only 7 hits. Yorktown scored two runs from errs and one from Sac/fly. The Eagles had 5 hits but did not put them together.Logan Bland went 2-3 and Thompson, Workman, and Jones went 1-3.

JV Softball Goes 2-2 in Last 4 Contests

Delta’s JV Softball team collected another conference win defeating New Castle 6-2.  Taylen Martzall and Raigan Brooks combined pitching performance allowed only five hits while the rest of the defense continued its stellar play not allowing a run while facing the last 15 New Castle batters to secure the win.  Sommer Wallace was four for

JV Softball Defeats Yorktown

Delta’s JV Softball team exploded with a 22 hit performance to defeat Yorktown 16-7.  Bre Evans went five for five with four doubles and four runs scored while Alana Morgan had four hits and also scored four runs. Jadelyn Knight, Tara Haney, and Taylen Martzall all had three hits each with one of Knight’s hits

The Eagles defeat Alexandria 6-5 scoring the winning run Jadlyn Knight getting home from a passed ball in the 6th. Angie Naaman pitched an outstanding game just one night after pitching 10 innings the night before. Ericka Pursley added with a double.
