Delta to Face Marion for Girls’ Regional Tennis Title

As expected, 11th-ranked Delta and 13th-ranked Marion advanced in the opening round of regional action in girls’ tennis on Tuesday evening. Eagles Edge Tigers 3-2 in Sectional Opener

Yorktown, with five seniors among its seven varsity players, put up a stiff challenge Wednesday evening in the girls’ tennis sectional opener.  But in the end, Delta came away with a 3-2 victory to advance to Friday’s finals. Girls Tennis Claims Another HHC Title

The girls’ tennis team finished the regular season on Monday evening with a 5-0 shutout victory over Shelbyville. The victory gave the Eagles another undefeated Hoosier Heritage Conference season for the sixth straight year. The Eagle junior varsity girls’ tennis team cruised to the championship Saturday in the East Noble Invitational north of Fort Wayne. Delta defeated East Noble 5-0, then topped Canterbury 4-1, and finished with a 5-0 shutout of Fairfield. Seniors Lead Tennis Team to 85th Straight HHC Victory

The girls’ tennis team finished a successful week by topping Pendleton Heights 5-2 on Thursday evening in a key Hoosier Heritage Conference match. The 12th-ranked Eagles are now 13-1 after a great week of tennis.  They are 6-0 in the conference with one league match remaining against Shelbyville. SmashCancer is a Smashing Success for Eagles

The fifth annual SmashCancer girls’ tennis turned out perfectly Tuesday evening as good weather, a great crowd, and some excellent tennis resulted in a memorable evening. Delta defeated Yorktown 5-0 in the varsity match and 12-2 in the JV match on the Eagles’ home courts. A crowd of several hundred people attended the festivities and
