SmashCancer Match Coming Up May 1

Boys Tennis Team Wins Own Invitational Title

The boys’ varsity tennis squad won the championship in the 8-team Delta Invitational on Saturday in extremely hot and humid conditions.  The all-day tournament was played in unseasonably hot 90-degree conditions with little wind. Senior Day Coming Up Soon for Boys’ Tennis

The boys’ tennis team will cap a busy stretch by honoring its five seniors on Monday, Sept. 25 in a home match against Mt. Vernon. For the sixth straight season, the Delta boys’ tennis team captured the Kokomo Invitational championship on Saturday. The varsity boys’ tennis team shut out Muncie Central 5-0 on Wednesday on the Bearcats’ courts.  The Eagles gave up only six games total in the five matches. Ben Bamidele at No. 2 singles and Tanner Southerland at No. 3 singles each won 6-1, 6-0.  Jason Wegener topped Erich Ong 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1
