Girls Basketball falls to Pendleton Heights

Last Thursday the Girls Basketball team played host to Pendleton Heights and fell to the Arabians by a score of 34-66. Leading scorer for the Eagles was Nicaya Richardson with 13 points. Leading the Eagles in rebounding was Teaghen Dishman and Richardson with 6 rebounds apiece. The Eagles are now 2-6 on the year.

Girls Basketball Defeats Blackford

On Tuesday Dec. 10th the Delta Girls Basketballl team traveled to Blackford and defeated the Bruins 42-34. Micaya Richardson paced the Eagles with 13 points. Kaitlyn Rawls followed with 11. They are now 2-5 on the season. 

Girls Basketball Teams Fall to New Palestine

The JV and Varsity Girls Basketball teams traveled to New Palestine on Saturday afternoon to open HHC play. In the Varsity contest the Eagles fell to the Dragons by a score of 26-49. Girls Basketball Defeats Winchester

On Wednesday night the Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to Winchester and defeated the Falcons 40-33. Leaders for the Eagles were Ericka Pursley with 10 points, Kaitlyn Rawls with 8 rebounds, and Teaghen Dishman with 3 assists. The JV team was also in action and came up just short in a hard fought contest 25-28.

Girls Varsity Basketball Falls to New Castle

On Saturday night the Girls Basketball team fell to New Castle 49-77. Leading scorers for the Eagles were Micaya Richardson with 15 points, Sydney Decker, Ericka Pursley, and Teaghen Dishman each had 7 points. Richardson also lead the team in rebounds with 8 and steals with 2. Dishman lead the team with 4 assists. The

On Friday night the Girls Basketball teams traveled to Wapahani and lost both games to the Raiders. In the Varsity game the Eagles lost 42-56. Today marks the first official practice set by the IHSAA for Girls Basketball and Girls Swimming. They will both take place right after school and conclude between 5:30 and 6:00.
