The Boys Track Team wrapped up a 3peat Friday evening edging out Yorktown by 2 points by winning the final race of the evening. Scoring for the Eagles included: Wesley Stitt 1st in the Long Jump, 100, 200, and 300 hurdles (2nd year in a row Stitt has won 4 events); Zac Stanley 1st in the 800 and high jump, 2nd in the long jump, Grady Foreman 2nd in the 100 and 200; Colten Wright 4th in the 400; Tanner Southerland 2nd in the 1600 and 3rd in the 800; Lucas Fox 5th in the 3200, Jarren Haggard 6th in the 3200; Cole Gruwell 2nd in the 110 hurdles and 5th in the 300 hurdles; Jon Chimbanda 6th in the 110 hurdles; 2nd from the 4×100 team of Malachi Silmon, Javaughn Whitfield, Kyle Tempest, and Foreman; 1st in the 4×400 to close out the W the team of Wright, Foreman, Southerland, and Stanley; 3rd from the 4×800 team of Kaleb Keys, Cody Bivens, Sam Campbell, and Fox; and Evan Conley 2nd in the Shot and Discus. Congrats to the boys team on accomplishing goal #1 of Trophy Season. Conference is next on Thursday at Mt. Vernon followed by Sectional the next Thursday at Muncie Central.
