Delta Boys & Girls Swimming & Diving Team Victoriously Beat Mt Vernon High School

The Delta Girls and Boys Team came together last night in an exciting and record breaking evening as a they narrowly beat Mt Vernon High School.   The Eagles won 16 events in route to victory for both the Delta Girls and Boys Teams.  In addition to the win the Eagles team members of Sam Bennett and Brady Samuels set Delta Team and Pool Records.  Sam Bennet surpassed the old Delta Record by over 60 points scoring a 319.25 in the 1 meter Diving event. Brady Samuels set a new Delta pool record in the 100 yd Freestyle beating former Eagle swimmer Andrew Torres record.  Brady’s record setting time was a 48.82 in the 100 yd Freestyle.  The next competition for the Delta swimmers and divers will be at Noblesville High School in the Noblesville Invitational Saturday December 1st.
