Delta JV

Record: 9-0

Delta JV capped off a tremendous month of April with a thrilling come from behind victory Monday over visiting Hamilton Heights 12-9. Anthony Gullion hit his first career grand slam homerun in walk-off fashion for the victory.  The JV Eagles are currently being lead offensively by Mario Lopez who is hitting .600 on the season. The JV team’s batting average is an impressive .344  for the month. The JV Eagles are lead in pitching by Karson Buck who is 2-0 on the mound and has a very low ERA of 1.27.   The JV will be in action again this weekend at Royerton against visiting New Pal in doubleheader action.  The game will be at Royerton due to the Varsity team playing Saturday as well. Game time will be 10:00 am.


Delta Varsity

Record: 5-11

Delta Varsity finished off the month of April against Shelbyville this past Friday on the road.  During the month Delta picked up impressive in county wins on the road against #1 ranked Wapahani and rival Yorktown.  The Varsity Eagles are lead offensively by Wes Woodin who had a great month despite injury finishing the month with a .409 average. Steven Wright, Chase Gardner, and Aiden Hinds also had productive months all hitting above .275 with an OBP above .350. The Varsity Eagles are lead on the mound by Steven Wrights 3 wins.  Chase Gardner, Ryan Fox, Cade Beckley, Tyler Gilland, Dalin Case, and Josh Bryan have also added solid innings as well.  The Varsity will return to action tonight on the road against Frankton at 5:00 pm.
