Multiple Teams · Senior Night Success

Last night the Eagles picked up their 7th win of the year with a 5-1 victory over Connersville. Charlie May pitched 5 innings only allowing 1 hit and 1 run while striking out 6.  The victory was the first of the year for May on the mound. In the game, the Eagles pounded out 11 total hits with 2 of them being doubles.  Adisyn Coffey and Adam Haynes hit the doubles for the Eagles and both came in the very first inning.   On the night 7 different players had hits with Jadon Henry, Tanner Lambert, Charlie May, and Andrew Shafer having multiple hits.

Before the game 10 Senior Eagles were honored and thanked for all their contributions to the program over the past 4 years.

Coach Paul and his staff would like to personally say thanks and congratulations to all the Seniors and wish them the best of luck in the future.

Delta will play tomorrow at 12:30 in the second semi-final of the county tournament at Yorktown.  Cowan and Yorktown will conclude their game today at 5:00 at Yorktown and Delta will play the winner of that game.
