On Friday night the Football team hosted Pendleton Heights for the 2015 IHSAA Sectional Championship. In the 2nd half the Eagles looked to be cruising to a win holding a 32-10 lead. However the Arabians came roaring back to tie the game at 32 with a little over 6 minutes left in the game. The Eagles drove the ball down but a couple penalties set up a 4th and 17. Quarterback Riley Pease dropped back and found Wide Receiver Mitchell Hahn going down the right sideline for the go ahead score. The Eagles would end up winning the game by a final of 46-32.
Zach Mills opened the scoring with a TD run. Pease and Hahn hooked up twice in the first half for scores. Pease then hooked up with Mills and he also had a QB sneak in the 2nd half for scores. Mills rounded out the scoring, after the Pease to Hahn go ahead score, with a TD late in the game to seal the victory. The Eagles are now 9-3 on the year. They will play Indianapolis Roncalli this Friday at Roncalli for the Regional Title. Game time is set for 7:00.
