Multiple Teams · JV Softball Remains Undefeated

The JV Softball Team has gotten off to a hot start to the 2015 season winning all 4 of its games so far.

The began the season by defeating Jay County 16-3. Jadelyn Knight had a home run. Bre Evans, Bailey Butler, and Natalie Maloney each had 2 hits. 6 different players scored 2 or more runs for the Eagles. Pitchers Taylen Martzall and Raigan Brooks only gave up a combined 6 hits in the win.

Next they traveled to Shelbyville and won 16-0. Taylen Martzall and Bre Evans combined to pitch a 1 hitter. Jadelyn Knight and Natalie Maloney each had 2 hits for the Eagles.

The game was a 5-2 victory over Hamilton Heights. Taylen Martzall pitched a complete game for the win. Alana Morgan had 2 hits and scored 2 runs. Bailey Butler and Catie Ridley also had 2 hits each. The defense came up big for the Eagles in the win.

The Eagles recorded their 4th straight victory of t season defeating Anderson last night 23-10. Tara Haney had 4 hits. Sommer Wallace had 3 hits and scored 5 runs, Alana Morgan had 3 hits and scored 4 runs, and Lacey Herron had 3 hits. Jadelyn Knight had 2 hits including her 2nd home run of the season.

They will be back in action tonight as they host Yorktown at the DGSA field at Royerton. Game time is set for 5:00.
