The Lady Eagles battled seven innings coming back in the seventh to tie the game but coming up one short to a very good Pendelton Heights softball team. The team is demonstrating that they have what it takes to be a championship team. They are becoming more confident in their play and relaxing at the plate. Angie Naaman threw another great game with an outstanding defense behind her. Angie started the scoring with a single in the forth and Ericka Pursley followed with a home run to make the game 2-3. the Eagles then tied the game in the 7th with Lindsey Welsh double and followed by Hallie Workman double to tie the game, but Pendleton scored in the bottom of the seventh to end the game. It was another outstanding effort by the Lady Eagles. They will play Wednesday home against Muncie South, come out and support your Lady Softball players, it is fun to watch.
